CarlosRuiz: Good morning
Deepak_: Good Morning
Deepak_: and Happy new year
Deepak_: Carlos, Please note that I committed DEMPIERE-2385 IDEMPIERE-2381 for webstore
Deepak_: Also would like to discuss DEMPIERE-2386
CarlosRuiz: thanks Deepak - Happy new year
nmicoud: Hi all ; happy new year :) CarlosRuiz : i review some of my old tickets that could be integrated (or closed) ; they all have small patches : - IDEMPIERE-416 : Add GPS Coordinates on locations - IDEMPIERE-475 : Show quotation number on invoice - IDEMPIERE-918 : Allow to choose the reversal document for invoice - IDEMPIERE-1148 : Account : Add checkboxes to identify account kind (bpartner, product) - IDEMPIERE-1425
CarlosRuiz: Deepak - I think 2386 is a bug introduced with IDEMPIERE-347 (passwords hash)
CarlosRuiz: you're right it must check just email
CarlosRuiz: Thanks nmicoud - same for you
aguerra: hello @CarlosRuiz
aguerra: Feliz Año y todo los mejor para este 2015
CarlosRuiz: Hi Alejandro - gracias :-)
Deepak_: Carlos,will fix same
Deepak_: Also please note that current webstore try to check ldap username
CarlosRuiz: same bug - it must check just email
aguerra: Happy new year @Deepak_ and nmicound, the besto for this 2015!!!
Deepak_: Which may looks also error
nmicoud: thanks aguerra ; wish the best for you too :)
Deepak_: Thanks Alejandro
Deepak_: Carlos, I can peer review IDEMPIERE-1672
nmicoud: for #416, you mean add a SysConfig like "GPS_COORDONATES_RESOLVER". If set to 'google', it will use my patch ; if empty, nothing will be done ; and this way it could be easily extended ?
CarlosRuiz: no, I was thinking OSGi way
nmicoud: ah, a real 'plugin' ?
CarlosRuiz: indeed maybe there is already one ... let me check
CarlosRuiz: there is an AddressValidation that can be configured via a sysconfig key
nmicoud: i see
CarlosRuiz: and save the result at the field Result
hieplq: good everning everyone. hi mr CarlosRuiz. i also some old and small ticket maybe you can help me quick review it.
hieplq: IDEMPIERE-1551, IDEMPIERE-1492, IDEMPIERE-1654, IDEMPIERE-1689, IDEMPIERE-1818, IDEMPIERE-2046, IDEMPIERE-2191, IDEMPIERE-1781
CarlosRuiz: that's intended for validation of address in certain countries - could be exploited to set the coordinates - or use similar approach for a coordinates resolver
CarlosRuiz: thanks hieplq - will try to check
nmicoud: maybe try to duplicate it for coordinates ? that's 2 different things
Deepak_: Carlos, IDEMPIERE-1672 is not related to webstore
Deepak_: but it is related to iDempiere login
CarlosRuiz: yep - I think is not really related to 2386
tbayen: Hi all! :-)
CarlosRuiz: Hi tbayen
tbayen: CarlosRuiz, I did a meeting with my employee about the documentation project we talked about. :-) We did a small start of an index. Do you think we should share this as a wikipage from the beginning or prepare a frame in a smaller group?
CarlosRuiz: sounds great
CarlosRuiz: a wiki page is good - and we can discuss it here
CarlosRuiz: brainstorm it - better than discuss it :-)
tbayen: It is just a starting point and in german. I will translate the core and we can use it as a beginning for further comments.
CarlosRuiz: good
red1: tbayen: anything my docbook can use?
aguerra: CarlosRuiz, i'll start migration all my idempiere from 2.0 to 2.1 but i get this message: !MESSAGE Unable to read repository at http://ci.idempiere.org/job/iDempiere2.1/ws/buckminster.output/org.adempiere.server_2.1.0-eclipse.feature/site.p2/artifacts.jar.
tbayen: red1, I want to use docbook and/or asciidoc as the format. (I have not yet much experience with asciidoc.)
CarlosRuiz: aguerra, the file is there - maybe you launched the upgrade when it was compiling
aguerra: i did 5 minutos ago
CarlosRuiz: then maybe a network failure - try it again
red1: tbayen: hieplq helped me get the PDF generating to work
red1: Next I be investigating the ePub
tbayen: red1, do you have links to source and resulting documents you did?
red1: I must have uploaded ..
red1: I think it's in the jira
red1: Will send you link in an hour. Now outside.
hieplq: hi tbayen. if you use docbook 4.5, and you nerver make a project for it. my experience is helpful. but if you use docbook 5. has a eclipse plug-in help all thing to create project
hieplq: https://bitbucket.org/hieplq/hsv-plugin/src/481352c906eed5b6ed9aa0f6c545cae30cdf2230/idempiere-docbook/?at=default
hieplq: @red1 you must back home. it's late :D
red1: Yes I am near home
red1: You in Hanoi?
nmicoud: :D
red1: I need to try the plugin too
red1: tbayen: my jira patch is about auto generating the xmls so that you need not create by hand
red1: Result is http://red1.org/ADguide/
tbayen: Sorry, I had a business call...
tbayen: red1, that looks good. :-) How long is that as a pdf document?
tbayen: hieplq, this new approach should work with docbook 4.5. I saw that some tools do not work with docbook5. One example is asciidoc.
tbayen: hieplq, I like your docbook project. I dod not know that someone else (than me and red1) is playing with docbook. That might be an interesting source of inspiration. :-)
hieplq: but i think make a project only start step. design a good structer is more harder.
tbayen: Two problems: Structure of the project and Structure of the document.
hieplq: yes. structure of document is harder.
red1_: tbayen: the PDF will be expected to be a good bible size :)
red1_: isnt that what ERP books are measured by?
tbayen: Yeah, thats a problem. I like your document as a reference part or somehow integrated into it. But it seems a couple of books of its own. We can sell it by kg.
red1_: indeed
red1_: but i transpose some text that are too long and repetitive
red1_: such as the IsActive desc
red1_: i want to make a GardenWorld expose too
red1_: and users can use it to generate their own client's doc
red1_: i.e. their clientInfo, orgInfo, no of customers, vendors, products, etc
red1_: the reference html is useful even for me to lookup very fast without launching AD
tbayen: Can you change your sql so that it generates a translated version?
red1_: i don't see why not. And it is a damn good idea from you again!
tbayen: (keeping the "under-the-hood" structure equal so that links stay the same.)
red1_: i am not sure but i may drop by Dusseldorf soon and can show u first hand over some warm coffee
red1_: here it is http://red1.org/adempiere/viewtopic.php?f=45&t=1803
red1_: i been called to Paris for another job
tbayen: Fine! :-) Tell me when you are here!
tbayen: wrong words - I wanted to say: Tell me at which day you will be here.
aguerra: CarlosRuiz After completing the compilation 69, I started the upgrade but I have the same message.
CarlosRuiz: can you download that file on the server?
CarlosRuiz: like
CarlosRuiz: wget http://ci.idempiere.org/job/iDempiere2.1/ws/buckminster.output/org.adempiere.server_2.1.0-eclipse.feature/site.p2/artifacts.jar
aguerra: nop
CarlosRuiz: sounds like a problem of your server not connecting to internet - or to that URL
aguerra: with wget yes
aguerra: another way to upgrade the version?
CarlosRuiz: install it from the .zip
CarlosRuiz: indeed when moving big I prefer to install from zip - and then use the update.sh for minor upgrades
red1_: tbayen: both sentences means the same to me :)
tbayen: CarlosRuiz, that is my first proposal. I included the thoughts I had together with Mirko. Please see this as a very first version: http://wiki.idempiere.org/en/TheBook
tbayen: That link is not only for Carlos. ;-) All other interested people are invited to join in.
tbayen: I have to leave my office for an hour. cul8er
CarlosRuiz: it looks good tbayen
CarlosRuiz: I was thinking about something similar yesterday - a first baby steps
CarlosRuiz: "iDempiere in 24 hours" :-)
norbertbede: hi CarlosRuiz. any deadline to merge 2.1 with ZK7 ? so replace in 2.1 ZK6x with ZK 7 ?
norbertbede: can we help somehow ?
CarlosRuiz: I haven't merged because too many open issues
CarlosRuiz: https://idempiere.atlassian.net/issues/?jql=status%20in%20(Open%2C%20%22In%20Progress%22%2C%20Reopened%2C%20%22Peer%20Review%20Queue%22)%20AND%20labels%20%3D%20zk7
CarlosRuiz: if at least the critical of those are solved I'm eager to integrate it - it's an extra effort to maintain a different branch
norbertbede: hm. i will talk with tomassvikruha and hieplq how we can resolved then. would be better to continue with new version. most of works are done with ZK7.
norbertbede: would be nice to get other members helps too
norbertbede: so if we can resolve this 16 issues you plan merge them ?
hieplq: i interest to working in zk7. will spen time to fix it.
norbertbede: pls help you can asi tomassvikruha for help to i can delegate for testing sure
norbertbede: we are stalled last 2 months well..
hieplq: i pause working in zk7 because i see layout issue is lower priority :D
norbertbede: pls dont take this personally.
CarlosRuiz: but there are layout issues that make a form useless
norbertbede: just im would be glad to move forward a big step
CarlosRuiz: those are critical
CarlosRuiz: if is just presentation is minor - would be good to triage that too
norbertbede: carlosruiz share your prios maybe would be better for us schedule tasks
CarlosRuiz: I would integrate zk7 into dev if the critical bugs are solved - presentation issues can be solved later
norbertbede: ok
CarlosRuiz: critical is something that stop your ability to work with the system
CarlosRuiz: in case of layout suppose the OK button cannot be reached - that makes the form useless
CarlosRuiz: but if is just that the OK button seems ugly :-) is ok to move ahead
norbertbede: its 12 issues
hieplq: hi @CarlosRuiz. how to quick detect a script is miss centralized IDs?
CarlosRuiz: I use this script to check for problems
CarlosRuiz: http://pastebin.com/mDru91NE
Djoudi: hello all
Djoudi: when i generate new model i see this error
Djoudi: at org.adempiere.util.ModelInterfaceGenerator.getClass(ModelInterfaceGenerator.java:534)
aguerra: CarlosRuiz trying again
aguerra: CarlosRuiz: operation completed ... but cp: no se puede crear el fichero regular «plugins/org.adempiere.tomcat.config_2.0.0/META-INF/tomcat/server.xml»:
CarlosRuiz: yep - I think that's fie
CarlosRuiz: fine
