Not-33c0case (sales order lines) is different than my use case test. In my use case test I think is worthy to show the complete tree, even if is related to a different master - i.e. applying the patch then the nodes on the tree can't be seen, so you don't know the "position" of the detail record on the tree. But in your use case of course is not ok to show all order lines from all orders. So, I think maybe could be good to16:52

To make it configurable it could be to add a flag to trees, something like "show full tree on detail" BTW - this is not just related to custom trees, tested setting Has Tree on Product tab of Product Category window, same behavior.
