Not-2f44: [IDEMPIERE] Tested the accounting consequences of not using a charge and the result is wrong - in accounting the transit accounts 21300 and 11130 are left with balance (GW accounts). It would need an additional allocation between the payment and the receipt to match both accounts, it seems easy to do the match simply using the charge. Regards, Carlos Ruiz

egil_: Some cases i have a payment that need to be distributed in many charges but i have just one. In allocate tab on windows payment i just can select an invoice and i have to create an ar reciepe document type distrubute an payment after and that's so much work.
egil_: If we could have the charge un allocate tab we can have as many as we need to distribute in just one payment. An example of this is when the client have many petty cash and want to make just one payment to reposition.

Not-2f44: [IDEMPIERE] Neil, I have tested and iDempiere can run in very small servers - even 256MB servers. And we also have installations with 12GB of memory and on every installation the Xms and Xmx must be tuned according to the server. So, probably a "default" is not a good idea. I would prefer to have some sort of properties where we can customize on every server the JAVA_OPTS without touching the .sh/.bat files Regards, Carlos Ruiz

egil_: I have another observation and whant your feed back about it. when i select on accounting scheme currency x but i have several transactions in others. The problem is that default reports like open items or unallocate payments do not show me the information on the currency selected on de scheme by default
egil_: dont you think that the view should have at least this column with the amount converted to be show?

The issue I see is that the s_language is a primitive array so it needs to be dropped and recreated to add a new language, changing that to an ArrayList that stays really "static" on time could be helpful. Not-2f44: [IDEMPIERE] Agree that it's not a big deal. My problem occured when a user had changed the accounting date on the invoices but not the document date. The accounting date was after the document date which made the invoices impossible to allocate to eachother (one credit note and one normal invoice). If the same situation happens to some other user all they will see is an error message that says "Wrong allocation date". They won't be able to figure out

CarlosRuiz: i.e. TaxDeclaration ( I think we hided it ) is based on that table
CarlosRuiz: so, is something to check if is worthy to have now a new table to look for taxes - and you don't have the direct relationship about what product/charge generated the tax
